Jaish-e-Mohammad Commander Abdul Rasheed Ghazi alias Kamran was killed in a 12 hour long encounter by our brave security forces. Ghazi was a Pakistani national and was also an Afghan war veteran. He was the mastermind behind the Pulwama Attack as he was an IED specialist. He was the one who trained Adil Dhar, the terrorist who drove the explosive laden vehicle into the CRPF convoy in Pulwama.
Ghazi is supposed to be one of the closest and most trusted aide of Jaish-e-Mohammad chief Maulana Masood Azhar. Ghazi escaped narrowly during an encounter just few days before the Pulwama Attack.
Killing Ghazi is just the start to the destruction our security forces will bring to these terrorists and those who back them.
We lost more brave soldiers in this encounter. This loss can never be forgotten and for sure it won’t be forgiven.
