“Apna Time Aayega” : Gully Boy is a refreshing in so many ways. Ranveer as a Dharavi Boy, Alia as his love interest and the backdrop of Hip-Hop, a music genre not so popular in India but still has a great underground circuit.
This trailer brings everyone’s attention to this amazing form of music and with star power like Ranveer & Alia, its going to have a huge huge popularity wave. Hip Hop is a lyrical genre and people are going to love it.
As for the actors – Ranveer Singh is so very versatile and he embodies the role of a street rapper so flawlessly, its amazing. Divine & Naezy – The 2 rappers on whom this movie is based are going to feel comfortable seeing Ranveer play this role.
Alia on the other hand is a great actor as we all know but few dialogues just stand out like when Ranveer says “Khaa Meri Kasam” and she swiftly replies – ‘Tu Mar Jaayega”.
Well, too much said by watching just a 2 min trailer. I must hold my thoughts especially after the ZERO Trailer review, which got me so excited and the movie — you know what I mean!!
