Everyone around the world is witnessing the repercussions of Chinese influence. China has entered every big and small market. They have made everyone dependent on their products. It is nearly impossible to imagine our lives without having some Chinese product around us. This dependency is causing a shift of status-quo in many countries. Australia is a very big example. They have been bullied, abused and sanctioned by China but still, they cannot act against China – too many threads are being pulled.
Another conflict is happening between India and China at Galwan Valley. First time since 1962 soldiers have died in a conflict between these two countries.
In a time of pandemic which originated from China (Wuhan Virus) that has infected around 10 million people worldwide, China is trying to distract people by creating several conflicts around the world. Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia, US and now India.
It is high time we Indians came together to fight this Chinese treat. China over the years has systematically invested in India and have captured a lot of markets especially the lower and middle-class market.
A good example is the budget smartphone market which has only Chinese phones.
Some of the highest-selling Chinese Smartphone Brands are :
- Xiomi – Redmi – Mi
- OnePlus
- Vivo
- Oppo
- Realme
- Huawei
This is just an example of a single category of Smartphones. You might have a few of these brands in your home itself.
We can look around our houses and find so many Made in China products. We need to act now before China can control us on their will. We need to become self-dependent i.e Atma Nirbhar. We need to take the #BoycottChina movement to the next level and start buying only Made in India products.
A lot of people come up with idiotic rhetoric such as – “I have this Chinese phone, do you want me to throw this” – ofcourse not. You have already paid for this product.
The movement is all about reducing the dependency on China and in the process making our country self-sufficient by buying ‘Made in India’ products. This will not be achieved in a few days – this is a long process and we need to come together as a country to achieve it.
We can start with small products and boycott them from today itself. We can stop using Chinese Apps from today itself. If you are using a Chinese smartphone then down the line in a year when you buy another phone make sure it is not Made in China. Slowly we will be successful in reducing China’s hold on our market and also making India #AtmaNirbhar.
