It is Election Time in India. The whole country is a buzz with the Election fever.
The first phase of voting has begun in the world’s biggest democracy.
The Hunger is Big and the Ethics are at the all time Low.
We are witnessing the Dirty side of the Politics on full swing ::
Power – Money – Accusations – Lies – Self Praise – Abuses – & what not!
This election there has been a trend of FAKE NEWS as well.
A fake news is floated using various social media platforms and of course then taken up by media houses as well.
But by the time the news is verified, it has already reached millions and affected them in the way the conspirators wanted.
Now media houses shouting after few days that the news was fake means nothing as the adverse effect has been done.
In most of the cases the Fake News reaches a lot more people and the verification of it reaches less.
If there is a fake news that belittles BJP then opposition parties like Congress would make it go viral and the same goes the other way too. Everyone is giving fire to wrong news – just to manipulate & misguide the general public.
And the best thing is that the political parties can just wash their hands off as the source is not their party account (on social media) – they just shared it or re-tweeted it.
I have a suggestion to all citizens of India – Don’t make your opinion based on any news channel or politician blabbing. Look around you, look for the person who can deliver the best for your constituency as this election is for the MP of your constituency. Member of Parliament(MP) will be your representative in the Lower House (Lok Sabha). Choose your MP wisely as he/she will be the one putting your problems in front of all in Lok Sabha. Make your vote count. Don’t fall for the lies and gimmicks of any political party. #Vote4India
